Šilo

For those who want to get away from the insufferable summer crowds, they can definitely find their rest and relaxation along with a pleasant atmosphere in Šilo, which is known for its clear sea and beautiful bays and beaches. One of them is a special dog beach next to which you can see the so-called “Tuner”, a fishing lookout with a ladder. 

After relaxing, when you want to feel the summer bustle and walk along the seafront in Crikvenica, just go to the seafront in Šilo and take a taxi-boat. You could be on the streets of Crikvenica after a five minute drive.

During the tourist season in Šilo festivities are organized every week. The Rokova festivity in August is especially famous, when the traditional Šilo-Crikvenica swimming marathon is held, in which all skilled swimmers can participate.

For diving lovers, there is a diving center that is fully equipped for organizing diving trips, courses and for training. A special attraction is the sunken ship „Peltastis“.
